Hannibal Laguna was born on 8 October 1967 in Caracas DF, Venezuela. At the age of 15 he moved to Spain, where he set up residence in Madrid.
His first textile company was called Bellocotton, which he founded in 1985 for the production of cotton knits.
His romantic and sensual collections makes him one of the great Spanish designers, He is renowned internationally as one of the Spanish designers with the greatest projection at the present time. These collections are currently sold by Pronovias at more than a thousand points of sale throughout Spain and the rest of the world.
Like many other Spanish designers, Laguna has worked with the theatre, film and television industries.
